These terms govern your use of Dropy - Drink Water Reminder
(package com.webstei.dropy), published by webstei. By
installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please
uninstall the app.
Dropy is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. Hydration targets are general estimates, not clinical guidance.
1. The app
Dropy helps you track how much you drink and reminds you during the day. It runs entirely on your device and requires no account.
2. Cost
The app is free. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no advertising. If that ever changes, existing features will not be moved behind a paywall for people who already installed the app.
3. Not medical advice
Daily goals are estimated from general guidance using the weight and activity level you enter. They do not account for pregnancy, medication, kidney or heart conditions, climate, illness, or anything else specific to you. Hydration coefficients for drinks are approximations for everyday use.
Do not use Dropy to make medical decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about your fluid intake, particularly if you have a medical condition. Drinking a very large amount of water in a short period can be dangerous.
4. Reminders are best effort
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Android may delay or suppress them due to battery optimisation, Doze mode, force-stopping the app, or manufacturer-specific power management. Some devices are more aggressive than others. We cannot guarantee a reminder will arrive at an exact time, and you should not rely on the app for anything critical.
5. Your data
Your data is stored only on your device. We have no copy and cannot recover it. If you uninstall the app, clear its storage, use "Erase all data", or lose your device, that data is gone permanently. There is no backup or sync. Please see the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app except where that right cannot be restricted by law;
- redistribute or resell the app or present it as your own;
- use the app in any unlawful way.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its name, the Dropy character, artwork and design are owned by webstei. Using the app does not transfer any of those rights to you.
8. Warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, webstei is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost data, or for any health outcome arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and you may have statutory consumer rights that these terms do not affect.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version always lives on this page with its date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
